The default: 19ft electric scissor lift
For racking work, sprinklers, lighting, data and general maintenance up to ~5.8m platform height, a 19ft electric scissor does the job quietly with no fumes — so the warehouse keeps operating around you. From $80 per day when hired for a week or longer, it’s also the economical choice. We run four (JLG ES1932, JLG ES1930, LGMG S0607E II x2), so multi-machine hires are realistic.
High-bay: 40ft electric
Modern high-bay warehouses put services at 10m+. The 40ft LGMG S1212EII reaches them on electric power with a big extension deck. Check floor loading first — it’s a heavy machine, and mezzanines or suspended slabs need engineering confirmation.
Narrow aisles: the 26ft narrow unit
Racking aisles designed around forklifts often won’t take a standard scissor. The 26ft narrow Zoomlion trades platform size for clearance and adds height over the 19ft units.
Before you book, measure three things
- Height to the work point (not the roof) — then pick the smallest machine that reaches it.
- Tightest access — dock doors, roller doors, aisle widths.
- Charging access — overnight 8-hour charging keeps electric machines ready.
