Daily, weekly and three-month rates
The same machine has three rates because the term changes what it costs to supply it. A long-term rate is a per-day figure that applies only when the hire runs three months or longer. It is not a one-day hire price, so do not compare it with another supplier’s day rate.

We do not add an insurance levy, an environmental levy or a hire levy. Diesel machines go back at the agreed fuel level, and damage is handled under the hire agreement rather than through a blanket waiver charge.
Compare the full delivered quote
A day rate on its own tells you little. Two quotes for the same job can differ by a few dollars on the machine and a few hundred on everything around it. Put both quotes into the same shape before you compare them:
- Same machine class and the same term: day, week or long-term.
- Delivery and collection both priced, to your suburb, with the access you actually have.
- Every added line named: levies, damage waiver, fuel, cleaning, after-hours charges.
- GST shown the same way on both, on each line or on the total.
- What happens if the job runs over: the extension rate and how off-hire works.
A worked example
The assumptions, so you can swap in your own: a 19ft electric scissor lift, hired for one week, delivered to a Sydney site and collected at the end. Transport is written as D and C because it is quoted for the suburb and access, not a flat fee.

If the same job ran three months or longer, the hire line would be charged at the long-term daily rate and the transport lines would be the same two legs. A long hire costs less per day but needs the same delivery planning.
Why machine size changes the price
A larger platform height usually means a heavier, wider machine that needs a bigger truck. Hiring more height than the job needs costs more in hire and transport and can create access problems. The height guide shows how to size it.
Delivery and collection
There is no single Sydney delivery fee. Distance from Berkshire Park, the truck the machine needs, site access and any fixed time window all change it, so we quote transport with the machine and show both legs. Agreed period, extensions and off-hire
The quote covers the period you book. If the job runs over, tell us before the end date and the extension is confirmed with a revised quote before it applies. Under the Master Hire Agreement (clause 17.2), hire charges continue until the machine is properly off-hired: you contact us directly, receive an off-hire number or confirmation, and the machine is available for collection, clean, accessible and safe to collect. Leaving it on site or telling another contractor does not end the hire (clause 17.3). The hire duration guide helps you set dates that avoid a surprise extra day.
