Machine spec sheets

Every machine page carries its manufacturer specification sheet as a PDF download, dimensions, capacities, weights and ratings for that exact model. Start from the equipment range, open your machine, and the download sits with the specifications. Risk assessments and pre-operational check sheets are being added machine by machine to the same Documents section as they are prepared for publication.

Printable: site measuring checklist

Measure these before you book, and the machine that arrives will be the machine that works. Print this list or keep it open on site:

• Required working height: to the task, not the ceiling
• Platform capacity needed: people + tools + materials
• Narrowest clear access opening on the route (doorways, gates, corridors, lifts)
• Lowest overhead obstruction on the route (door headers, ducts, awnings)
• Ground or floor surface: slab, asphalt, gravel, turf; floor rating if suspended
• Truck unloading space: length, overheads, gradient, traffic
• Power outlet location for overnight charging (electric machines)
• Site requirements: induction, permits, operating hours, dock bookings
• Site contact name and number for delivery day

• Access route walked and clear of materials and vehicles
• Induction and permits confirmed with the site office
• Unloading area coned or supervised at the delivery window
• Person receiving the machine available for handover and familiarisation
• Charging point identified (electric) or refuelling plan set (diesel)
• Off-hire contact and collection access confirmed

Hire agreement templates (PDF)

Blank copies of the documents behind a hire, so you can read them before you book. When you hire, we send the copy you sign with your details filled in. The plain-English summary is on our terms of hire page.

• Master Hire Agreement (PDF), signed or accepted once, then applies to every hire.
• Hire Confirmation and Quote Acceptance (PDF), the machine, dates, site, rates and charges for one specific hire.
• Credit Account Application (PDF), only where you want an account rather than paying up front.
• Sale Terms and Conditions (new machinery) (PDF), used when you buy a machine from us, never for a hire.
