Quick answer
Before a used machine leaves, confirm the exact unit by stock number, the recorded hours and the date they were read, what is included such as the charger and manual, how it will be collected or delivered, and who receives it. Our machines are sold as inspected, so arrange an inspection before you commit.
This guide starts after you decide to buy
For what to check before buying, read what to check before buying a used scissor lift. This page covers the step from agreed purchase to having the machine on your site.

How our sales work
- Machines are sold as inspected. You are welcome to inspect at Berkshire Park by appointment before you buy.
- There are no change-of-mind returns, so settle any questions first.
- An online order holds the machine while we send a tax invoice, paid by bank transfer.
- Pickup is from Berkshire Park by appointment. Delivery is quoted separately.
The full terms are on our equipment sale terms page. Placing an enquiry does not confirm a sale.
Transport
Check the machine’s weight and dimensions against your vehicle or your carrier’s truck, and the unloading point at your site. If we quote delivery, tell us about access, ramps and anything overhead at the drop-off.
Receiving the machine
- Check the stock number matches the invoice
- Check the charger, manual and keys are present
- Charge it fully before first use
- Make sure operators are familiar with the controls and emergency lowering
