Equipment Sale Terms
How buying a machine from Equip Hire works: price including GST, invoice and bank transfer, pickup from Berkshire Park, and our sold-as-inspected returns policy.
Price
Prices on machines for sale are in Australian dollars and include GST. Hire rates are a separate service and are not sale prices.
Ordering and payment
When you place an order online we hold the machine for you and email a tax invoice from our accounts system. Payment is by bank transfer, using the details on the invoice. Please pay within 3 business days; if payment has not arrived by then we may release the machine. Ownership passes once payment has cleared.
Pickup and delivery
Machines are collected from our yard at 770-776 Richmond Road, Berkshire Park NSW by appointment, at no charge. Delivery is not included in the price. We can quote transport anywhere in Australia; it is agreed and invoiced separately before it is booked.
Inspection and returns
Every machine is sold as inspected. You are welcome to inspect it at our yard before you pay. We do not accept change-of-mind returns.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded, including the consumer guarantees where they apply.
