Read the load chart first
Weight, height and reach together decide what this machine can place. Have the heaviest load and the furthest placement written down before it arrives.

Compacted and trafficable, with the bearing capacity for a loaded machine. Mark trenches, pits and services, and keep the boom out of the exclusion zone for power lines.

The maximum rated load is at minimum height and reach. At full extension the chart figure is a fraction of it.
Travelling with the boom up
Boom retracted and low to travel. A raised boom on a slope or soft ground is how these machines tip.

A telehandler lifts materials. Lifting people needs an approved work-platform attachment and the operator competency that goes with it.
