Delivered by us
Quoted by suburb, machine and access. We plan the truck, the unloading space and any overhead hazards before the run, tell us about docks, tight driveways and height limits when you book.
Customer pickup, confirmation required
Customer pickup has not been confirmed for this machine. Delivery is always available and is quoted together with the hire; if you would rather collect, ask the team and they will confirm whether a trailer combination is approved for it.

Delivery, access and running
What we need from you, and what we take care of.

Delivery
Quoted by suburb, site access and transport requirements, the machine and the delivery are quoted together for your dates.
Heaviest load and furthest placement
Tell us the heaviest load, how high and how far it has to go, and what the ground is like. We read the load chart for the attachment and confirm the machine before it is loaded.
Hire period
Hire runs from delivery or pickup until off-hire is confirmed. Rates are quoted for your dates, suburb and machine together, see our hire terms for responsibilities during the hire.
Not sure it will fit?
Send your suburb, your dates and the tightest access width. We will confirm the machine and quote the delivery with it.
Safety
Pre-start checks, every day
A telehandler is checked as a load-handling machine, not as a work platform. The load chart for the attachment fitted decides what it may lift.

What counts as the record
Ticking here is a memory aid on your phone, nothing is stored. The machine’s own logbook and pre-start check sheet are the record. Based on the manufacturer’s daily check requirements and SafeWork NSW guidance for this kind of equipment.
Site prep
Before it arrives
A telehandler is judged on the load chart and the ground. Sort both before it arrives.
Swipe
Read the load chart first
Weight, height and reach together decide what this machine can place. Have the heaviest load and the furthest placement written down before it arrives.
Walk the ground
Compacted and trafficable, with the bearing capacity for a loaded machine. Mark trenches, pits and services, and keep the boom out of the exclusion zone for power lines.
Plan the set-up and exclusion zone
Room to level the frame where loads are placed, and a zone nobody walks through under a suspended or raised load.
Make delivery space
Room for the truck to stop and unload safely. Tell us about gates, height limits and steep access when you book.
Attachments
Forks as standard. If you need a different attachment, tell us at booking so the right load chart travels with the machine.
Avoid
Mistakes we see weekly
The things that most often send a machine back or hold up a job.
Swipe
Planning on the headline capacity
The maximum rated load is at minimum height and reach. At full extension the chart figure is a fraction of it.
Travelling with the boom up
Boom retracted and low to travel. A raised boom on a slope or soft ground is how these machines tip.
Using it as a work platform
A telehandler lifts materials. Lifting people needs an approved work-platform attachment and the operator competency that goes with it.
Leaving inductions to delivery morning
Managed sites need the paperwork approved before the truck arrives.
