Overview
The Almac Athena 870 BL EVO is a crawler (tracked) scissor lift with proactive bi-levelling: it keeps the basket level on slopes and uneven ground while rubber tracks spread the load on soft or finished surfaces. 7.9m working height, 5.9m platform floor and a 250kg two-operator basket measuring a full 1.50 x 1.20m — noticeably more room than the 850 BL. Standard drive is a Kubota Z482 diesel, with a 220V 2.2kW electric motor and a 220V 1kW generator available. Levelling range is plus or minus 16 degrees longitudinal at the front, 20 degrees at the rear and 15 degrees laterally. 2,460kg.
Where it works
Good to confirm: Tracked repositioning is slower than wheeled. Electric running is tethered and needs a 15 amp supply on a lead, because there is no on-board battery: if a 15 amp outlet is not within reach of the work area the machine runs on the Kubota diesel instead, so confirm the power before an indoor or enclosed job. Confirm the surface rating before tracking over finished ground. An online listing cannot replace a site assessment, so tell us the job and we will confirm suitability.

An 820 mm door leaf is not 820 mm of clear opening once the stop and hardware are counted. Measure the gap.

Working height, not platform height
This machine is rated at 7.9 m (about 26 feet). Working height is what a person can reach from the platform, not the height of the platform floor. The difference is roughly two metres, and it is the figure most quotes get wrong.
A spec sheet answers what the machine does. It cannot tell you whether it fits your gate, your ground or your slab, so ask us. Two details is enough.
