# Hiring Two Scissor Lifts for One Warehouse Fit-Out

## When two machines make sense

- Two trades working at the same time in different areas, for example electrical in the high bay and ceilings in the office
- A high-bay area and a low office mezzanine with a narrow door
- Work that must finish by a fixed date and cannot wait for one machine to move

If the trades follow each other in the same area, one machine is usually enough.

## Map each work zone

Two-zone planning tableItem | Zone 1 | Zone 2 |

Task and trade | Fill in | Fill in |

Height to the work (m) | | |

Narrowest access to the zone (mm)

Floor (slab, mezzanine, racking aisle)

People, tools and materials on the platform (kg)

Dates needed | | |

Platform load means the combined weight of people, tools and materials on the platform. It is not the machine's weight.

## Compare the machine classes

A high-bay zone may need a larger electric scissor, while the office zone suits a narrow model or a vertical mast lift. Compare exact models rather than size names.

If the high bay has racking or plant in the way, a boom lift may suit that zone better. The comparison tool puts two models side by side.

## Delivery and sequence

Both machines can arrive together, or one can follow when its zone is ready. Staggering them can shorten the hire on the second machine. Tell us the programme and we quote the transport to match.

## Charging and handover

Two electric machines need two charging points, or a charging roster. Agree who puts each machine on charge and where they are parked at the end of the day.
