# Scissor Lift Delivery Costs Sydney: What Matters

Delivery is quoted for your suburb, machine and access, not as a flat Sydney fee. Four things move it: distance from our Berkshire Park depot, the truck the machine needs, what the driver finds at the site, and whether the run has to happen in a fixed window. Delivery and collection are two separate trips, and both are on the quote.

For the tracked scissor lifts, delivery is from $150 + GST each way, with the final price quoted for your suburb and site access. That starting price is for the tracked class only. Other machines are quoted on the same factors without a published from-price.

## Delivery and collection are separate legs

Every delivered hire has two trips: out to the site at the start and back to the depot after you off-hire. We quote them together so you see the complete transport cost, but they are planned separately. Collection is scheduled after you contact us and receive an off-hire confirmation. Under the Master Hire Agreement, hire charges continue until the machine is properly off-hired and available for collection, clean, accessible and safe to load. If access changes between the two legs, say a dock closes or the machine ends up on a different level, tell us when you off-hire so the right vehicle comes the first time.

## Make delivery day smooth

- Nominate a contact who will be on site and answering their phone.
- Clear the drop zone. A truck with ramps needs room.
- Flag constraints in the quote form: overhead wires, slopes, soft ground, security inductions.
- For buildings, confirm dock height and goods lift capacity before delivery day.

## The pickup alternative

Approved machine and trailer packages, such as a 19ft electric scissor lift on one of our Brian James plant trailers, can be collected from the depot when your tow vehicle and licence cover the loaded trailer. ## Questions we are asked

Can you deliver the same day? Often, near the depot. Call 0472 721 234 rather than waiting on the form.

How do hire time and transport relate? They are separate lines on the quote. The hire period runs from the booked start to the off-hire; transport is the two legs around it. Scissor lift hire costs shows how the lines fit together, and if anything on a quote is unclear, ask and we walk through it.
